Whilst I was perusing the ‘www, I came across this site, which featured a bunch of tutorials on how to do some of the more popular gore effects with Photoshop.

Now, if you have seen some of the more recent horror and sci-fi moves, you will recognize some of these popular effects.

As with all tutorial collections there are some that are spectacular… and some that are not.

Some of the ones I personally thought were excellent were:

	Turning Tom Cruise into an Alien. Really, whats not to like, not to mention it’s exceptionally well done!
	This is a quick and dirty tutorial on how to do a standard blood drip in PS.
	How to make it look like someone smoked the wrong end of cigarette.
	Excellent tutorial on realistic eye wounds and blood.

These are just a couple I thought stood out above the others, the rest are definitely worth checking out as well.

There are many other great tutorials on Photoshop Roadmap as well, along with brushes and other resources for the gore fanatics.
